BEEP BEEP

For the Benildean near and far.

Hey, Benildean!

Beep Beep aims to help Benildeans familiarize themselves to the cityscape of Manila. There are four campus extensions of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, all of which are essential to the knowledge of every Benildean. These campuses are all in walking distance of each other, and are accessible by every Benildean regardless of their degree program. An E-Jeep service provided by the college also circulates between these four campuses at set intervals of between 15 to 20 minutes.

TAFT

Benilde's main campus directly in front of LRT-1's Vito Cruz station. This is where most General Education and Institutional classes, like CSBLIFE, are held. You may also find all the essential offices here in the Taft campus.

SDA

The School of Arts and Design, also known as the Design and Arts Campus (DAC) is situated along Ocampo St. If it is not already obvious by its name, SDA houses students majoring in art-related courses offered by Benilde. There are several exhibitions here from time to time.

AKIC

The Angelo King International Center (AKIC) houses students under SHRIM and SMIT programs. On several occasions, the campus holds its own Chef Station where students cook and serve meals.

ATRIUM

The Atrium houses the Senior High School population and SDG undergraduates. As of now, the Atrium is under construction and is projected to fully open in 2023.

THE COMMUTE

The Light Rail Transit (LRT) and Metro Rail Transit (MRT) systems in Manila proves to be the most efficient modes of transportation. The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde is conveniently situated right in front of LRT-1's Vito Cruz station. Here is a map illustrating the MRT-LRT system.

Commute Tips

Unfortunately, Manila can be a very dangerous place because of how busy it is. Remember these three key points when commuting during peak hours.

phone

Unless it's an emergency, avoid using your phone during commutes. Looking distracted on your phone can make you a very easy target for pickpockets.

bag

If you have a backpack, wear it in front. It is recommended to use slingbags or totebags when commuting because of their convenient size. Hug your bags tight!

pockets

Be aware and alert of your belongings in your pockets. Wear a baggy shirt that covers your pockets, or wear a jacket with inside pockets.

BEEP CARD

Get a Beep Card. Instead of buying single-journey tickets, this could save you a lot of time and money. Just tap and ride! They're available at every LRT-MRT station for P100.
